Today I made a presentation about a poem in an English poetry class.
The name of the poem was 'One day I wrote her name upon the stra
nd'.
The poem was written by Edmund Spenser.
Spenser is best known for The Faerie Queene.
It is about a man who vainly tries to write his lover's name
on the sand at a beach. But, the waves washed it away.
He longs for eternal love.
Then he realizes that she shall live forever by fame.
Information the partner gave me was not enough.
It took me too much time to make a PowerPoint slide!
besides, The presentation had to be in English.
